It has been built with the technical diver in mind for demanding conditions and is bright, durable, lightweight and reliable.
This listing is for the light head only. You can purchase the full package including cabling, battery and charger at our Ammonite Nautilus Focusable Light Kit link.
ONE OF A KIND
As an experienced diver, you know perfectly how it is difficult to find a dive light that’s bright, durable, lightweight and works reliably in almost every condition.
The Ammonite Nautilus light head utilizes the latest Cree CXB LED chip with a Fresnel lens that allows you to make the most out of the impressive 4000-lumen output. You can smoothly adjust the light beam to be as narrow as 9º and as wide as 45º.
MOST VERSATILE DIVE LIGHT
The LED Nautilus can be combined with different cables (E/O cord, Standard or Sidemount cable) and can be used with any one of Ammonite's Accu 10, Accu 14 and Accu 24 battery packs offering burn times ranging from 2.5 to 10 hours.
This innovative dive light utilises the latest Cree CXB LED chip and Fresnel lens that allows it to provide impressive 4000 lumens of light and smoothly adjust the light beam to as low as 9 degrees and as high as 45 degrees.
The smooth and compact design of the Ammonite Nautilus light head is perfectly balanced making it easy to operate when in use with or without a Goodman handle.
All these features are packed in a relatively small housing that’s only 140mm in length and 60 mm in diameter. Yet while exceptionally durable, the Nautilus light head respectively weighs 415g and 150g underwater.
DURABILITY AND RELIABILITY
The Ammonite Nautilus light head is built from marine-grade aluminium alloy covered with a hard anode making it resistant to corrosion and mechanical scratches.
The 6mm front glass is made of highly fatigue-resistant tempered glass. The Nautilus light head has been extensively tested in use and can safely down to a depth of 150m.
Easy-to-operate switch knobs are made of lightweight but very tough and corrosion-resistant polymer (Delrin®).
ADDITIONAL PROTECTION AND STATUS SIGNALING
The electronic system of the light head controls the voltage level and signals a low battery level with a strobe flash and Nautilus automatically switches to backup mode (light output at 20% light intensity) when the battery is drained. It will only work in backup mode until the battery is recharged again.
