As a leading UK dive store, we hold a large stock of cutting-edge scuba diving equipment in store and have some of the best prices in-store and online.
But if you find a product at DirDirect advertised for sale cheaper anywhere else in the UK, we will try to match the price at our discretion.
This applies to all items sold by a UK Authorised dealer for that brand, provided they have a storefront and the listed items are in stock.
To contact us for a possible price match, please email us the link to the products you would like us to consider price matching.
Exceptions to our Price Match Policy are:
- Grey imports or online sellers abroad misleadingly using co.uk and uk domains
- Out-of-stock items* advertised as "pre-order", "available for order" or "available in [such and such] time"
- Narratives of verbal quotes (i.e. "so and so said they could do this for me") unless in writing
- Legitimate dealers who have failed to update their online prices under newly issued supplier price lists.
We've encountered several instances where retailers have supposedly reduced prices (sometimes by over-pricing the RRP) on items they do not carry in stock and are selling to order, at times even with outdated price lists falling under the current trade price of products.
We are also aware that a small number of retailers recently coming into the technical diving scene may be inclined to do the similar with products they do not regularly hold in stock nor have had in the past, even before the global supply shortages.
So long as the retailer is an authorised vendor based in the UK with a brick and mortar store front we will, in any event, do our best to match prices on the condition that any sale itself falls within our contractual terms with manufacturers or suppliers, and at our discretion is reasonable to proceed with.
