It represents a groundbreaking evolution of the trusted Swift AI technology into a single, compact, powerful unit.

While you'll enjoy all the features of the trusted Swift, receiving real-time gas pressure data and benefiting from accurate gas time remaining calculations for extended dive time, you'll also be getting a location accuracy of 4 metres based on a satellite reporting interval of 4.8 - 5.2 seconds.

Better still, if you already have a transmitter — or multiple transmitters —only one of them needs to be the GPS version to reap the benefits.

What are the main differences between the Perdix 3 and Perdix 2?

The biggest upgrade is the display: the Perdix 3 features an ultra-bright 2.4-inch AMOLED display with 450 x 600 resolution, offering four times the resolution and vastly superior viewing angles compared to the Perdix 2's 2.2-inch 320 x 240 LCD screen.

Additionally, the Perdix 3 introduces a "Big Layout" option for easier readability, an updated user interface, programmable quick-change layout settings, and expanded screen colour customisation. Perdix 3 also comes with Freediving Mode straight out of the box with configurable sampling rates and alarms.

Despite the larger screen, the outer casing dimensions remain the same, though it is slightly lighter at 181g versus 190g for the Perdix 2.

Does the Perdix 3 have vibration alerts?

Yes, the Shearwater Perdix 3 features a robust, customizable vibration alert system that triggers at critical moments during dives. Note that for the vibration function to work, you must use 1.5V non-rechargeable lithium batteries or 3.7V rechargeable lithium batteries; standard alkaline batteries do not support vibration.

Can I replace the Shearwater Perdix 3 battery myself?

Absolutely. The Perdix 3 features a user-replaceable AA battery compartment. It accepts almost any AA battery type (alkaline, lithium, or rechargeable), though Shearwater recommends 1.5V lithium batteries (like Energizer Ultimate Lithium) for the best performance and leak resistance in cold water.

Does the Shearwater Perdix 3 support air integration and GPS?

Yes, the Perdix 3 is fully air-integrated. It can wirelessly monitor tank pressure from up to four separate Swift transmitters simultaneously. While the computer itself does not have an internal GPS chip, it fully integrates with Shearwater's Swift GPS transmitter. When paired, the transmitter captures your precise surface entry and exit coordinates and automatically syncs them to the new Dive Shearwater mobile app to map out your dive history.
This combination makes the Perdix 3 an excellent choice for divers who want to monitor their primary gas, deco gases, sidemount cylinders or even a buddy's air supply as well as dive location.

These products are not included in our global max-capped shipping rates and are only shipped outside of UK mainland after freight cost is calculated based on total weight, dimensions of parcel, location of delivery and the courier service used. All cylinders we ship within and outside of UK mainland are filled and tested on site before being emptied for dispatch. Cylinders shipped outside of the UK will be empty and will also have their valves removed, requiring reassembly after you receive delivery. Twinset manifolds and bands will also be removed and dispatched together with the cylinders for safe global shipping.
