Shearwater Swift GPS Transmitter
Designed to seamlessly integrate with your existing Shearwater dive computer, the Shearwater Swift GPS Transmitter will turn any air-integrated Shearwater device into a complete logging tool, automatically recording the precise coordinates of your dive entry and exit points, mapping them in your log.
Dispatched 1 to 2 days
Shearwater Research's Swift GPS Transmitter is engineered to provide divers with both reliable, real-time air integration and crucial surface location data, together with dive log maps. It represents a groundbreaking evolution of the trusted Swift AI technology into a single, compact, powerful unit.
Every Shearwater air integrated dive computer can lock in your dive site location coordinates with the Swift GPS, giving you more than the benefits of air integration when you capture your dive's entry and exit points, and add maps to your Dive log.
Better still, if you already have a transmitter — or multiple transmitters —only one of them needs to be the GPS version to reap the benefits.

While you'll enjoy all the features of the trusted Swift AI, receiving real-time gas pressure data and benefiting from accurate gas time remaining calculations for extended dive time, you'll also be getting a location accuracy of 4 metres based on a satellite reporting interval of 4.8 - 5.2 seconds.
And yes, of course, the Swift GPS also had the collision avoidance for other transmitters, which makes it incredibly reliable.
Otherwise identical in size, weight, and functionality to the Swift Transmitter, it's worth noting that the Swift GPS's GPS feature will somewhat reduce battery life, though not significantly for most divers.
Based on one-hour dives, Swift without a GPS battery has a battery life of up to 300 hours, with a shelf life of 5 years, whereas with the GPS, it is 100 hours, with 20 minutes of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) on-time before and after each dive. Its battery shelf life is 2 years.

Swift GPS Key Features
When the dive log is transferred to Dive Shearwater, the log will display:
- Your dive location on a map
- A location name (if available)
- Entry and exit coordinates
- A world view of all your dive log locations
- If a user has multiple transmitters, only one needs to be GPS.
Plus, all standard features of SWIFT:
- An advanced collision avoidance system ensures reliability using multiple transmitters
- Randomised transmit interval allows for reliable simultaneous use of multiple Swift transmitters
- LED status indicator
- Easy ‘no tools’ installation and removal on divers' first stage
- Compatible with all existing air-integrated Shearwater dive computers
