The Halcyon Evolve Wing System with Standard Harness maintains a novel, industry-first design. This unique circular wing provides unprecedented control, which allows divers to easily fine-tune their buoyancy regardless of position.

Furthermore, this full twinset wing system includes a single-loop harness and a backplate of your choice. The factory delivers the entire rig fully set up. Therefore, you only need to perform a little fine-tuning on the harness before diving.

Halcyon Evolve Wing

The circular design of the Halcyon Evolve Wing allows precise control of in-water buoyancy and trim. You can easily accomplish horizontal trim through the addition of lift at the base. Consequently, this specialised structure virtually eliminates gas trapping on either side of the wing.

Additionally, the Evolve wing integrates seamlessly with Halcyon's existing line of MC systems. Wreck divers and cavers will immediately appreciate the effortless buoyancy adjustment. Whether you are finning or scootering, the sleek profile cuts through the water with minimal drag.

Halcyon Standard Harness and Backplate System

The Halcyon Secure Harness fits perfectly onto the backplate, allowing infinite adjustability for all divers. Whether you dive wet or dry, this stable design completely eliminates tank roll and drift.

Furthermore, the reliable five-point system ensures a snug, custom fit. Pre-bent shoulder D-rings facilitate quick, one-handed storage of your accessories. Refined manufacturing ensures that the Halcyon backplate provides the highest-quality finish.

Specifically, unique bends near the bottom of the plate create an ergonomic curve. This small detail significantly increases your comfort. Additionally, utility holes enable easy mating with the optional MC Storage Pak for stowing an SMB.

What backplate to use?

While not set in stone, aluminium backplates are generally preferred by travelling or wet suit divers as they are lighter than their stainless steel counterparts.

The popular backplate for drysuit diving is stainless steel, where the additional weight is a benefit (spreading out the weight needed to compensate for buoyancy while taking it off the diver's waist).

Both backplates are based on the same Halcyon design and are compatible with the Halcyon Cinch Adjustable Harness. Most UK divers who use drysuits prefer the steel backplate.

We aim to dispatch all in-stock items within 2 working days but will inform you of approximate delivery times should any item on your order be out of stock or on supplier backorder due to current manufacturing or transport delays caused by global shortages and/or impeded production.

Products that need to be ordered from the manufacturer or distributor's stock, are temporarily out of stock, are subject to backorders, or are marked as Special Orders may take longer to dispatch. INTERNATIONAL EXCEPTIONS:

For international orders containing weights, cylinders (excluding suit inflation bottles), and Suex scooters, please contact us in advance before placing your order.

These products are not included in our global max-capped shipping rates. They are only shipped outside the UK mainland after the freight cost is calculated based on the parcel's total weight, dimensions, delivery location, and the courier service used. We will let you know the cost before processing any order.

All cylinders we ship within and outside of UK mainland are filled and tested on site before being emptied for dispatch. Cylinders shipped outside of the UK will be empty and will also have their valves removed, requiring reassembly after you receive delivery. Twinset manifolds and bands will also be removed and dispatched together with the cylinders for safe global shipping.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

We offer a 30 day return for any product sold under our Returns & Refunds Policy Please contact us before any return with your order number and date details. Receive our Returns Authorisation Form and instructions and enclose them with your return to expedite a refund. Detailed information is available in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Note that all returned items are shipped at the customer's own risk and remain the customer's property until received by Underwater Explorers, so please ensure they are packaged well and use reliable postal services with tracking facilities. The goods will be inspected on arrival. 

Return postages are at your own cost and our outbound shipping costs (if items are sold with integrated basic shipping charges i.e. Free shipping for orders £45 and above) the UK shipping rate may be deducted from any UK mainland refund unless linked to a fault/defect claim.
