The app uses smartphone camera technology native to each phone model, allowing you to switch between photo and video modes easily. All files are saved to your smartphone’s camera roll.
The SportDiver Pro 2500 Set includes the 2500 Lumen Sea Dragon Photo-Video Light for brilliant and colourful underwater images and video and is accompanied by a grip and tray for smooth, steady imaging. When you’re not using the SportDiver with the light, a removable underwater colour-correction filter is included with the SportDiver that restores natural underwater colours, it easily attaches or removes underwater.

SportDiver Housing
The SportDiver Underwater Smartphone Housing for iPhone & Android is a compact and lightweight underwater housing for smartphones. The SportDiver housing will allow divers to take photos and videos with their smartphones down to 40 meters.
The SportDiver can encase most Android models and all iPhones from iPhone 8 through iPhone 14 Pro Max. The free SportDiver App is available at the App Store or Play Store and works with the current and prior generations of the OS. Please review SportDiver compatibility checker and fit guide.
The heavy-duty housing comprises Polycarbonate, stainless steel, aluminium and optical-grade glass. And while the SportDiver Underwater Smartphone Housing is “heavy duty”, it is not heavy, weighing less than 641 grams, and is lightweight for travelling and offers almost neutral buoyancy in water depending on which smartphone model is used.
Easy to use
The SportDiver is easy to hold and use and offers a large shutter lever and rear control buttons for easy operation, even with dive gloves. Snorkelers and Divers can get more creative with their photos or video shots by using advanced camera settings. Adjust Zoom, Exposure (EV), Auto/Manual Focus, White Balance, Tint, Lens selection, RAW+JPEG mode, Live Photo and Background Blur (on available phone models).
Free SportDiver App
The SportDiver housing includes the free SportDiver app. Unlike other smartphone housing apps, there are no annoying in-app purchases or ads. You can easily switch between photo and video modes. The SportDiver App uses your phone’s camera technology native to each phone model. The app supports the present and previous versions of OS, the app is updated according to new versions of the OS.
The App Playback mode shows full-size photos and videos with vertical thumbnail strips to easily locate your images. Videos start playing automatically when selected. All files are also saved to the phone’s camera roll. The SportDiver housing automatically connects to your smartphone and the SportDiver app using Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) 5 wireless technology. No cables or buttons touch the phone, and it offers ultra-low power consumption for both the phone and the housing, which is powered by two AAA batteries that last over 50 hours of continuous use.
Enhanced image results
For enhanced imaging results, a removable underwater colour-correction filter is included with the SportDiver, which restores natural underwater colours. The filter is easily attached or removed underwater and includes a safety tether to prevent loss. The SportDiver housing features triple 1/4-20 tripod mounts, which mount to any light or light tray with standard tripod threads, such as SeaLife’s range of Sea Dragon underwater photo/video lights.
Safety and protection
For the phone’s safety and protection, the SportDiver has a sturdy holding spring and rubber grip tabs that securely hold the smartphone in place and add shock protection. The SportDiver has “Dual Leak Alarms”, which include an internal moisture alarm and a vacuum pressure alarm which alert the diver with on-screen warnings, audio and LED signal in the unlikely event the waterproof seal is compromised and there’s a loss of housing pressure, or moisture is detected. The door of the SportDiver is sealed with a TPE O-ring and a robust cam-lock sealing latch that easily and securely locks the waterproof door. To prevent interior fogging from residual moisture, the SportDiver uses the anti-fogging agent “Moisture Muncher” capsule, which prevents fogging and internal condensation.

The SeaLife Sea Dragon 2500 Photo Video Light uses flat panel COB LED technology to closely mimic natural sunlight, bringing out amazing colours in underwater photos and videos.
With a Colour Rendering Index of 90, the SeaLife Sea Dragon 2500 Photo Video Light solves the issue of blue underwater photos and videos by giving divers the ability to add light down to 60 meters with portable sunlight.
An ultra-wide beam
The incredibly wide 120-degree beam (90 degrees underwater) of the Sea Dragon 2500 ensures maximum lighting coverage and is ideal for cameras with a wide field of view, like the SeaLife Micro HD, 2.0 or GoPro. With a lab-verified lumen output of 2500, the light has a 60-minute burn time at full power – making it incredibly efficient and bright.
Easily expand with Flex-Connect
A Flex-Connect Single Tray, Grip and fitted case are included with the light. For those that want to expand an existing set, the light head is also available on its own (Item SL6712). Flex-Connect lets you quickly and easily transform your camera set from compact to full-featured in seconds by adding grips, Flex Arms, trays and more with just a “click!”

*CRI is a measure of a light source’s ability to show object colors “realistically” or “naturally” compared to daylight, which has a CRI of 100 and represents the maximum value.
The beam angles for the Sea Dragon lights are shown as the true, tested “in-air” (above water) beam angle. Underwater, due to light refraction, the angle tightens to approximately 33% less.
Avoid using this Sea Dragon light above water for prolonged periods of time
The light is designed for underwater use and water is needed to displace heat. The metal light head at full power will reach temperature of about 140F (60C) degrees within a few minutes, which may cause burning if touched. A thermal sensor will automatically dim the light if internal temperatures reaches 150F (65C) degrees. Immediately turn off light if any parts of the light become hot to the touch.

These products are not included in our global max-capped shipping rates and are only shipped outside of UK mainland after freight cost is calculated based on total weight, dimensions of parcel, location of delivery and the courier service used. We will let you know what this cost will be before processing any order.
All cylinders we ship within and outside of UK mainland are filled and tested on site before being emptied for dispatch. Cylinders shipped outside of the UK will be empty and will also have their valves removed, requiring reassembly after you receive delivery. Twinset manifolds and bands will also be removed and dispatched together with the cylinders for safe global shipping.

Note that all returned items are shipped at the customer's own risk and remain the customer's property until received by Underwater Explorers, so please ensure they are packaged well and use reliable postal services with tracking facilities. The goods will be inspected on arrival.
Return postages are at your own cost and our outbound shipping costs (if items are sold with integrated basic shipping charges i.e. Free shipping for orders £45 and above) the UK shipping rate may be deducted from any UK mainland refund unless linked to a fault/defect claim.
