Shearwater Peregrine dive computer gas modes
The Shearwater Peregrine is ideal for decompression and no-decompression diving and multiple recreational dives with Shearwater's tested and proven reliable algorithm working in the background.
You'll be able to use this dive computer with 4 modes:
- Air
- Nitrox
- 3 Gas Nitrox
- Gauge
What do the gas modes mean?
The computer will base your dive on 21% O2 if you're diving air. If you're diving Nitrox, all you have to do is press a couple of buttons. This will input what your O2% is (i.e. 32%, 36% etc.)
As simple as that.
And, if you're doing decompression diving using one or two decompression gases for the ascent phase, it's equally easy. You first tell the computer what your bottom gas O2. Then insert the O2% of your deco gases and the maximum Partial Pressure of O2 you will use.
What is Gauge Mode?
With a screen layout different to gas modes, selecting Gauge Mode will turn the computer into a reliable "bottom timer". Decompression tissues are not tracked in this mode.
On the dive display, the screen will show dive time, maximum depth, average depth, temperature and time. Gauge Mode also supports an on-screen Stopwatch if needed. Gauge mode is ideal for freedivers. But it also makes the unit an affordable backup depth gauge and timer for future mixed gas dives.

Optional Shearwater Swift transmitter
The Perdix 2 is capable of displaying tank pressure in all modes.
With the help of intelligent AI technology, the Swift establishes a highly dependable connection. Additionally, it monitors other transmitters and only transmits when the channel is clear, thereby avoiding collisions with other signals.
Consequently, divers can now use multiple transmitters near each other without worrying about potential interference.
Shearwater's new firmware includes support for up to 4 transmitters on compatible Shearwater models.
Thanks to its no-tools design, it's easy for you to remove and replace the Swift from the 1st stage. (Gone is the need to find a particular size tool to tighten or loosen a transmitter, making it a perfect travel companion!)
Not only does a double O-ring seal protect a user-replaceable 3V CR2 lithium battery, providing up to 300 hours of operation, but an LED status indicator also enables the diver to confirm that everything is functioning correctly during setup quickly.

These products are not included in our global max-capped shipping rates and are only shipped outside of UK mainland after freight cost is calculated based on total weight, dimensions of parcel, location of delivery and the courier service used. We will let you know what this cost will be before processing any order.
All cylinders we ship within and outside of UK mainland are filled and tested on site before being emptied for dispatch. Cylinders shipped outside of the UK will be empty and will also have their valves removed, requiring reassembly after you receive delivery. Twinset manifolds and bands will also be removed and dispatched together with the cylinders for safe global shipping.
