The SeaLife SportDiver Underwater Housing is a compact and lightweight housing for smartphones. Remarkably, this housing is almost 20% lighter than the larger SportDiver Ultra model. It securely holds iPhones from the 17 Pro to the 16 Pro Max. Additionally, it fits popular "Plus" sized Android models. Consequently, the SportDiver housing allows divers to take stunning photos and video down to 130 feet (40 meters).
Specifically, the SportDiver encases many Android models and all iPhones from iPhone 11 through iPhone 17 Pro. However, the iPhone 17 Pro Max requires the SportDiver Ultra Housing instead. To get started, you can download the free SportDiver App at the App Store or Play Store. This app officially works with the current and prior generation of your phone's operating system.
Heavy-Duty Yet Lightweight
This heavy-duty housing features a strong build of Polycarbonate, stainless steel, aluminium, and optical-grade glass. Although the SportDiver housing is incredibly durable, it weighs less than 1.5 pounds (641 grams). Therefore, it is lightweight for travelling and offers almost neutral buoyancy in water.
Furthermore, the SportDiver is exceptionally easy to hold and use. It offers a large shutter lever and rear control buttons for effortless operation, even when you wear thick dive gloves. As a result, snorkelers and divers can get highly creative with their underwater shots by adjusting advanced camera settings.
Advanced Camera Control
Using the app, you can seamlessly adjust Zoom, Exposure (EV), Auto/Manual Focus, and White Balance. You can also control Tint, Lens selection, RAW+JPEG mode, Live Photo, and Video Stabilisation. Unlike other smartphone housing apps, the included SportDiver app contains zero annoying in-app purchases or ads.
Meanwhile, you can easily switch between photo and video mode during your dive. The app utilises your phone's native camera technology to deliver the best results. Additionally, the App Playback mode shows full-size photos and videos with a vertical thumbnail strip. Videos start playing automatically when you select them.
Seamless Connectivity & Safety
The SportDiver housing automatically connects to your smartphone using Bluetooth® Low Energy 5 wireless technology. Because no cables or buttons touch the phone, it consumes ultra-low power. In fact, two AAA batteries power the housing for over 50 hours of continuous use.
For enhanced imaging results, a removable underwater colour-correction filter is included to restore natural colours. For safety, the housing features Dual Leak Alarms with internal moisture and vacuum pressure alarms. Finally, a robust cam-lock sealing latch and a TPE O-ring ensure the waterproof door is completely sealed.

INTERNATIONAL EXCEPTIONS:
For international orders containing weights, cylinders (excluding suit inflation bottles), and Suex scooters, please contact us in advance before placing your order.
These products are not included in our global max-capped shipping rates. They are only shipped outside the UK mainland after the freight cost is calculated based on the parcel's total weight, dimensions, delivery location, and the courier service used. We will let you know the cost before processing any order.
All cylinders we ship within and outside of UK mainland are filled and tested on site before being emptied for dispatch. Cylinders shipped outside of the UK will be empty and will also have their valves removed, requiring reassembly after you receive delivery. Twinset manifolds and bands will also be removed and dispatched together with the cylinders for safe global shipping.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
We offer a 30 day return for any product sold under our Returns & Refunds Policy Please contact us before any return with your order number and date details. Note that all returned items are shipped at the customer's own risk and remain the customer's property until received by Underwater Explorers, so please ensure they are packaged well and use reliable postal services with tracking facilities. The goods will be inspected on arrival.
Return postages are at your own cost and our outbound shipping costs (if items are sold with integrated basic shipping charges i.e. Free shipping for orders £45 and above) the UK shipping rate may be deducted from any UK mainland refund unless linked to a fault/defect claim.
