Scubapro MK25 EVO G260 Carbon Black Tech Regulator

The Scubapro MK25 EVO G260 Carbon Black Tech Regulator upgrades the popular G260 system. It offers superior durability, featuring a carbon fiber cover and a Black Tech finish. This regulator combines advanced design with robust materials.

MK25 EVO Black First Stage

The balanced piston MK25 EVO Black Tech first stage resists freezing exceptionally well. It also provides superb inhalation sensitivity. This stage delivers air instantly on demand. The MK25 EVO ensures constant and effortless airflow, regardless of depth or tank pressure.

G260 Carbon Black Tech Second Stage

The G260 Carbon Black Tech second stage enhances ruggedness with a carbon fibre front cover. It features a large diaphragm, internal metal components, and a high-flow exhaust valve. These elements provide excellent breathing sensitivity and resistance to freezing. Carbon fibre is both lightweight and extremely durable. It resists substantial shocks without damage.

Durable Coating and Included Accessories

Both the first and second stages feature a Black Tech scratch-resistant metal parts coating. This protects against saltwater and corrosion. A zippered fabric bag is also included. This bag offers specially fitted padding to protect the regulator during storage and transport.

Key Highlights:

  • Carbon fibre cover for enhanced durability and reduced weight.
  • Black Tech coating resists scratches and corrosion.
  • Patented XTIS (Extended Thermal Insulating System) improves cold-water resistance by 30%.
  • Air-balanced valve ensures effortless inhalation at varying depths.
  • Reversible LP hose attachment allows flexible hose routing.
  • CE certified for all diving conditions, including extreme cold water.

Technical Specifications:

  • MK25 EVO First Stage Airflow (at 200bar): >8500 l/min
  • MK25 EVO First Stage Intermediate pressure: 9.2-9.8 bar
  • G260 Carbon Second Stage Weight (without mouthpiece): 244g

DIN or A-clamp first stage?

Most of our divers prefer DIN fitting on the 1st stage regulator. A DIN regulator has a threaded post which screws into the inside of a DIN tank valve and has no additional metal or braces that run behind the valve. This, together with the position of its o-ring, creates a more secure seal on the tank.

YOKE (or A-Clamp) 1st stages have an oblong metal brace that completely encircles the tank valve when in place and is screwed down on the tank valve when the yoke screw is tightened.

Both regulators seal to the scuba tank through an o-ring where the o-ring on a Yoke valve is in the tank valve itself as opposed to DIN regulators with their own o-ring.

DIN fittings are commonly accepted as more secure, but Yoke valves are common throughout North America and recreational tourist destinations. A DIN regulator can be adapted to Yoke valves by using an A-clamp adapter for travel.
