Scubapro MK2 EVO R105 Regulator System
The Scubapro MK2 EVO R105 Regulator with R095 Octopus offers a simple and reliable experience. This system suits diving schools, rental centres, and new divers. It is also great for avid recreational divers. They can use it as a basic backup breathing system. This regulator delivers smooth, dependable air. It is also built to last for years of use.
The compact casing is based on the S620 Ti. It has an anti-scratch front cover. A metal classic downstream valve is part of its design. It includes a dive/pre-dive VIVA switch. A soft, co-moulded purge button provides easy purging. You can route the hose left or right. This works well for stage or pony bottles.
Scubapro’s classic MK2 EVO completes this system. It is a downstream piston-style first stage. Its internal components resist freezing. This works even in extreme cold-water conditions. This regulator combo is durable, reliable, and affordable.
What's included?
- Scubapro MK2 EVO First Stage
- Scubapro R105 Second Stage
- Scubapro R095 Octopus
- Scubapro High-Flow Regulator Hose
- Scubapro High-Flow yellow Octopus Hose
MK2 EVO First Stage
- A classic downstream piston design defines this first stage.
- It has a chrome-plated marine-grade brass body.
- The body includes one high-pressure and four low-pressure ports.
Its patented XTIS (Extended Thermal Insulating System) is innovative. It fully isolates mechanical elements from the cold. This boosts freezing resistance by 50% over its predecessor. Breathing performance remains uncompromised.
Additional internal improvements enhance this system. These include a spring insulating bushing and coating. An insulating piston bushing and sleeve are also present. An antifreeze cap adds to the freezing resistance.
The chrome-plated marine-grade brass body is now smaller. However, it houses an oversized piston. This piston improves breathing performance. It achieves this by increasing airflow.
A stainless steel removable orifice makes maintenance easier. This also extends the regulator's lifespan. It meets EN250-2014 standards for cold-water performance.
- Weight: INT 232, 670g / DIN 300, 450g.
- Intermediate pressure (bar): 9.5-10.
R105 Second Stage
- A classic downstream valve is included.
- It features a dive/pre-dive VIVA switch. This controls free flows effectively.
The metal valve housing is rugged. This design increases the regulator's overall reliability. Its reversible hose attachment is very convenient. It allows for easy use with side mounts. It also works well with pony or deco tanks.
The super-flow hose has an oversized bore. This allows more air to flow with each inhalation. The compact Hi-Flow mouthpiece boosts airflow. It also enhances mouth comfort. It fits all mouth sizes, from largest to smallest.
This second stage is CE certified. It meets the latest EN250A European Standards. This certification covers all diving conditions. This includes extreme cold water.
- Weight (without mouthpiece): 156g.
