Robust P-Valve Quick Disconnector for drysuit divers with a metal clasp for easy donning and doffing of catheters from relief hose.

This is a quick-disconnect system with one-way flow. As soon as the system is separated, the check valve engages and prevents backflow.

The P-Valve Quick Disconnector is ideal for any dive, whether short or long duration. It can also be used for multiple dives, with the “quick disconnect” detached between dives as needed.

P-Valve Quick Disconnect: Easy to Use

How It Works

1.    Male Connector: The lower profile male connector attaches to the end of the condom catheter (sheath).
2.    Female Connector: Is installed inline to the end of the tube leading to the  P-valve on your drysuit.
3.    Connection: The male end snaps into the female end, creating a secure, leak-proof seal.
4.    Disconnection: Pressing a button or lever on the connector allows quick separation, while an internal check valve stops any fluid from backing up.

Benefits of P-Valve Quick Disconnect

  • Ease of Use: Quickly connects and disconnects the catheter from the valve system without hassle.
  • Convenience: Ideal for short to long duration dives, or when you need to detach for comfort during multiple dives.
  • Prevents Leaks: The one-way valve system prevents urine from escaping back into the catheter while it is connected or into the suit when it is disconnected.
In essence, it's a fast-acting, leak-proof coupling for your drysuit pee system.

If you are using the widely popular Wideband Catheters, you can trim about 1cm from the connection point to prevent kinking. Before attaching the catheter, insert the male connector into the catheter connection point, then unroll the catheter into place.

With the above set, you're ready for a dive or a day out. As mentioned, the catheter can be worn and kept in place (or used for discharge) without being connected to the hose.

Connecting and disconnecting the hose is straightforward. It can be done discreetly on a boat, beach, or elsewhere by simply using the visible plastic heads of the connectors. The system can then be disconnected for surface break or, as before, connected directly before a dive.
