Halcyon 50D Twinset Regulator Package
The Halcyon 50D Twinset Regulator Package is an excellent long hose setup for twinset diving. The robust Halcyon H-50D first stages are paired with a Halcyon Halo second stage as a main and Aura as a backup regulator. The set has a long main and a short backup regulator hose.
Halcyon 50D Twinset Regulator
The Halcyon 50D Twinset Regulator Package provides an excellent long hose setup for twinset diving. The robust Halcyon H-50D first stages are paired with a Halo primary regulator and a Aura backup regulator. This set includes a long main regulator hose and a short backup hose.
Furthermore, both second stages feature an innovative Air Control Vane (ACV) to fine-tune your breathing. This vacuum-assist technology reduces breathing effort and increases comfort. Standard comfort mouthpieces minimise jaw fatigue, while the long hose grants total freedom of movement underwater.
Halcyon Twinset Regulator Includes:
- 2 x Halcyon H-50D first stages (300-bar DIN fitting).
- Halcyon Halo second stage acting as the main regulator.
- Halcyon Aura second stage acting as the backup regulator.
- 210cm (7') rubber main hose and a 24" rubber backup hose.
Main Second Stage - Halcyon Halo
The Halcyon Halo second stage offers steadfast reliability and impeccable performance for demanding divers. Because it features a balanced, adjustable downstream valve, the design slightly offsets the incoming air force. This system reduces spring tension and decreases inhalation resistance to deliver smooth, high volumes of air.
Additionally, an easy-access control knob provides custom adjustable inhalation control to refine your breathing effort. The integrated Air Control Vane also offers superior flexible control. For instance, the "dive" position provides powerful breathing support, while the "Halcyon" position helps prevent surface-free flows.
- Fully compatible with 40% Nitrox outside the EU.
- Features an adjustable downstream valve for custom tuning.
- Includes an innovative Air Control Vane to maximise comfort.
Backup Regulator - Halcyon Aura
The Halcyon Aura second stage features a simple, compact design that makes breathing underwater feel natural. This high-quality backup delivers air in a smooth, dependable fashion. Consequently, Halcyon configures the Aura with a single adjustment control and a preset inhalation effort.
Furthermore, classic downstream valve-style second stages have an impressive safety record across the diving industry. The downstream valve opens in the same direction as the incoming airflow. Therefore, a factory-adjusted spring counteracts the air force, requiring only a small inhalation to open the valve.
- Highly compatible with 40% Nitrox outside the EU.
- Utilises a highly reliable non-adjustable downstream valve.
- Includes a built-in Air Control Vane to prevent free flows.
Halcyon H-50D First Stages
The Halcyon H-50D first stage features a high-performance, fully sealed diaphragm design. Engineers purpose-built this rugged system for harsh conditions, such as ice or environmentally contaminated water. Because of this specialised engineering, the diaphragm's first stages have remained historically popular with dedicated cold-water divers.
Additionally, the balanced, environmentally sealed diaphragm supplies consistent performance at varying tank pressures and depths. The dry balance chamber completely prevents water entry into the internal mechanism. Therefore, you will enjoy smooth, easy breathing and trouble-free operation throughout your entire dive.
Furthermore, two opposing high-pressure ports allow you to choose exactly where to route your SPG. Four stationary low-pressure ports also allow you to customise your hose configuration for ultimate convenience.
- Features a premium balanced, sealed diaphragm and a dry balance chamber.
- Equipped with 2 x High-pressure Ports for versatile gauge routing.
- Includes 4 x Low-pressure Ports (3/8) with high-flow capabilities.
- 300-bar DIN connection.
