Women’s Fourth Element Xerotherm Top

The Fourth Element Xerotherm Top is an ideal baselayer for your drysuit. It utilises Polartec® Powerstretch®, a fabric originally developed for NASA. This top traps an insulating layer of air next to your skin. This keeps drysuit divers drier as well as more comfortable.

The Xerotherm fabric’s unique knit creates the fastest wicking effect among all Fourth Element products. Moisture quickly draws through fine fibres and spreads over the outer surface. Consequently, this maintains a thin air layer next to your skin. The Xerotherm is so effective that some divers do not even notice minor dry suit leaks until after the dive.

You can wear this range under another undersuit or alone under a neoprene drysuit. The Fourth Element Xerotherm Top features flat seams plus a long body. Consequently, this design prevents separation between the top and leggings. Furthermore, thumb loops keep sleeves in place during drysuit donning.

Xerotherm Top features

  • Outstanding thermal performance
  • Lightweight
  • Low bulk and buoyancy
  • Extremely fast wicking
  • Hardwearing
  • Machine washable
  • Performs when wet

"The performance is superb". This was the reaction of Doug Allan, world-renowned and award-winning underwater filmmaker and author, after testing the Xerotherm in -2 degree (29F) water inside the Arctic Circle in Svalbard, whilst shooting sequences for the BBC production The Blue Planet.
