Apeks WTX Single Tank Wing System
The Apeks single tank wing with backplate and harness is a fully set-up Apeks WTX Single Tank Wing System, all ready to go.
You have two backplate and wing options. Choose from stainless steel or a lighter aluminium backplate. For these fully set up systems, Apeks offers either WTX-D40 wing providing 40lbs lift or the smaller WTX-D30 with 30lbs lift.
First, consider your backplate preference. The stainless steel option offers rugged durability. It is ideal for more demanding dives. Second, the aluminium backplate provides a lighter-weight alternative. This is great for travel.
Next, select your wing size. The WTX-D40 is suitable for most divers. It offers ample lift. However, the WTX-D30 is a good choice for smaller divers. It is also suitable for warmer water diving. Finally, this system is designed for single-tank configurations.
Apeks designed this WTX-D Single Cylinder Wing with a narrow profile. Consequently, this narrow design allows the cylinder to nest deeply inside.

Apeks Harness
This strong, simple Apeks Deluxe One-Piece Webbed Harness readily supports a fully rigged diver. Moreover, you can easily customise it. This harness is designed for comfort and performance.
Firstly, this harness includes 2-inch stiff webbing. It also has a center grommet for added strength. Secondly, a 2” wide crotch strap ensures a secure and comfortable fit.
Furthermore, six stainless 2” D-rings offer ample attachment points. For additional comfort, two neoprene shoulder protectors are included. Additionally, two elastic retaining loops reside on the shoulders. Finally, one more loop is located on the crotch strap.
Subsequently, a heavy-duty stainless waist buckle ensures secure closure. This harness is built for durability and reliability.

Apeks Backplate
The Apeks Backplate comes in either lightweight aluminium or rugged stainless steel. Aluminium backplate weighs approximately 753g and stainless steel approximately 2.2kg.

Apeks XTX50 Single Tank Long Hose Regulator
The coldwater-rated Apeks XTX50 Single Tank Long Hose Regulator Set is a classic set with a long hose. We have combined a Apeks DST first stage with a rotating turret for great hose routing with an adjustable XTX50 second stage as the main and a non-adjustable XTX40 as a backup.
This popular regulator provides optimal hose routing. Four medium-pressure ports are mounted on a rotating turret. This eliminates sharp bends in the hose.
XTX50 Second Stage
The classic and popular Apeks XTX50 Second Stage with a breathing effort adjustment for precise control of breathing effort.
XTX50’s second stage can be converted from a right-handed hose configuration, as supplied, to a left-handed one. Changing the regulator to a left-handed configuration is quick and simple and can be performed by any Apeks Authorised Service Technician.
The XTX50 Second Stage incorporates the feature of Diver Changeable Exhausts system. This system allows the diver to change from a small exhaust tee to a large one. This gives the user a choice of the wider exhaust tee for minimal bubble interference, essential for underwater photography, or the narrow exhaust tee for a smaller compact and comfortable set-up.
The Apeks XTX50 second stage incorporates a two-shot high-strength composite front cover, improving the durability of the most vulnerable part of the demand valve.
The ergonomic Venturi lever of the Apeks XTX50 Second Stage has been designed to reduce the amount of grit ingress.
A silicone exhaust valve has been used on the Apeks XTX50 Second Stage, improving breathing performance.

XTX40 Second Stage
Apeks XTX40 Second Stage is highly recommended primary or backup regulator with pneumatically balanced second stage and venturi control.
XTX40’s second stage can be converted from a right-handed hose configuration, as supplied, to a left-handed one. This feature is known as the Reversible Venturi System.
The XTX40 Second Stage incorporates the feature of Diver Changeable Exhausts system. This gives the user a choice of the wider exhaust tee for minimal bubble interference, essential for underwater photography, or the narrow exhaust tee for a smaller compact and comfortable set-up.

Apeks DST First Stage
The Apeks DST first stage has rotating turret reduces hose tension and allows for optimum hose positions and comfort.
Unique over-balanced, diaphragm design - as the diver descends, the over-balancing feature allows the medium pressure gas in the hose to increase at a rate faster than ambient. This results in superior performance at depth.
A dry chamber prevents water from coming into contact with the DST first stage spring to stop freezing.

These products are not included in our global max-capped shipping rates. They are only shipped outside the UK mainland after the freight cost is calculated based on the parcel's total weight, dimensions, delivery location, and the courier service used. We will let you know the cost before processing any order.
All cylinders we ship within and outside of UK mainland are filled and tested on site before being emptied for dispatch. Cylinders shipped outside of the UK will be empty and will also have their valves removed, requiring reassembly after you receive delivery. Twinset manifolds and bands will also be removed and dispatched together with the cylinders for safe global shipping.

Note that all returned items are shipped at the customer's own risk and remain the customer's property until received by Underwater Explorers, so please ensure they are packaged well and use reliable postal services with tracking facilities. The goods will be inspected on arrival.
Return postages are at your own cost and our outbound shipping costs (if items are sold with integrated basic shipping charges i.e. Free shipping for orders £45 and above) the UK shipping rate may be deducted from any UK mainland refund unless linked to a fault/defect claim.
