First Stage Features

  • Balanced Jet Seat Piston: Uses a conical seat and blunt piston design for incredible reliability and smooth airflow.

  • Corrosion-Resistant Materials: Crafted from durable chrome-plated brass and marine-grade 316 stainless steel.

  • Extensive Port Allocation: Includes 2 fixed high-pressure (HP) ports and 7 low-pressure (LP) ports on the cap.

The Atomic Z3 first stage eliminates sharp internal edges that typically wear down traditional valve seats. As a result, this robust design enables an industry-leading two-year or 300-dive service interval. Furthermore, the first stage maintains superior, effortless gas delivery even when cylinder pressure drops significantly.

Second Stage & Comfort Swivel

  • Automatic Flow Control (AFC): Patented system self-adjusts airflow to match depth without manual dials or switches.

  • Titanium Seat-Saving Orifice: Extends seat life by retracting the orifice off the seal during gear storage.

  • All-Black Comfort Swivel: Precision-machined brass swivel with PVD coating allows 30° movement without hose pulling or binding.

  • Rapid Adjustment Knob: Enables manual airflow detuning for high-surf entries or alternate air source use.

  • Elliptical Exhaust Valve: Significantly lowers exhalation effort while venting bubbles away from your field of view.


The Atomic Z3 second stage combines zirconium-plated brass and lightweight titanium components to maximise overall breathing comfort. Its pneumatic balance and high-flow case ensure smooth gas delivery at any depth. In addition, a soft dual-material front purge cover allows quick, effortless clearing whenever necessary.
