The max 1300-lumen Ammonite Speleo Light Head is made specifically for cave diving. Operational burn times range from 16 to 40 hours, depending on the battery size, making it ideal for even the most demanding cave explorations.
The Speleo Light Head has a concentrated 6-degree beam that can go through the water with a smooth glide. It will help you in communication and caves exploration for an exceptionally long time.
Ammonite System is modular
Due to the modular design concept, you can configure your umbilical light set regarding your needs.
All Ammonite umbilical lights, cables, batteries and heating batteries are equipped with the same chinch-type connector. So when one of the parts wears out, or you would want to upgrade it, there are no obstacles to doing so.
Modularity also affects the convenience of use and safety. For example, you can change the broken cable for a new one on the diving spot without sending it to the service centre.
Ammonite Speleo Light Head burn times
Ammonite System Speleo LED light head burn times vary depending on the battery you will be using as well as the power setting. The chart below is based on using the 9, 10, 14 and 24 Ah battery sets that can be purchased together with the light head all inclusive in the SPELEO LED Kit.
Speleo is durable and compact
Speleo is depth rated to 200 meters and built from hard anodised marine aluminium, making it resistant to corrosion, knocks and scratches.
Easy to operate switch knob is made of lightweight but very tough and corrosion-resistant polymer (Delrin®), and the 6mm front glass is made of highly resistant tempered glass.
The Speleo weighs only 265g making it easy to operate even when holding it by hand, and measures 11.6cm x 5.3cm
Take me home mode
The inner microchip system signals a low battery level with a strobe flash. When the battery is drained, it automatically switches to take “Take me home” mode (light output at 20% light intensity).
"Take me home" is a backup mode to which Ammonite umbilical lights switch when the battery is drained. Light will continue operating for at least 1 hour or more depending on the light and used battery. Light will only work in "take me home" mode until the battery is recharged again.
