Scubapro S600 MK25 EVO Regulator is Scubapro's most popular regulator combination. The S600 truly matches the MK25 EVO's characteristics and thanks to its adjustment possibilities, it adapts to all diving conditions and all diver preferences. Ease of breathing is the essence of this system.
A top performing balanced piston first stage paired with a high performance air balanced second stage; this combination is Scubapro's most popular regulator combination. The S600 truly matches the MK25's characteristics and thanks to its adjustment possibilities, it adapts to all diving conditions and all diver preferences. Ease of breathing is the essence of this system.
Regulator Set includes:
- Scubapro MK25 EVO Piston First Stage
Scubapro S600 Adjustable Second Stage
Scubapro Standard Regulator Hose
S600 2nd STAGE
A second stage regulator must translate natural breathing behaviour into mechanical reality. A high quality second stage can significantly reduce stress and enhance diver safety by providing smooth, low-effort breathing response, resulting in ample yet controllable quantities of air.
The designation balanced and classic downstream are also distinguishing marks for second stages and again imply ultimate flow performance and stability in addition to reliability, simplicity and solid performance. The air-balanced valve technology of Scubapro S600 second stage features a balancing chamber in the second stage mechanism, slightly offsetting the force of the downstream air entering from the first stage. This allows reduced spring tension and decreases the inhalation resistance to the lowest possible level. The result is super smooth breathing in all conditions.
- Air balanced valve
- Diver-adjustable inhalation effort
- Diver-adjustable Venturi-Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA)
- Super-flow hose
- High comfort orthodontic mouthpiece
- Full metal valve housing
- Weight: 193g
- Air flow at 200 bar: 1850 l/min - 66 SCFM
- Maximum low pressure: 14 bar
MK25 EVO 1st STAGE
Air-balanced flow-through piston design provides constant and effortless airflow unaffected by depth, tank pressure, or breathing rate.
Patent-pending XTIS (Extended Thermal Insulating System) fully isolates the mechanical elements from the cold, increasing freezing resistance 30 percent over the current Scubaopro MK25 Evo without compromising breathing performance.
New spring insulating coating, body insulating bushing (non-metal cylindrical interface separating metal parts from water), anti-freeze cap, bigger body and cap thread all work in concert with the XTIS to improve cold-water performance. (Key insulation system components are visible in blue.)
Anti-freeze protection radically increases breathing reliability when diving in the most extreme water temperatures.
Two high pressure and five high-flow low pressure ports on a swivel turret maximize hose routing options.
External intermediate pressure adjustment enables technicians to fine-tune performance quickly and easily.
- 300bar DIN connection.
- Weight: DIN 300 572g
- Airflow at 2900psi (l/min/SCFM): >8500/301.
- Intermediate pressure 9-9.8 bar.
*Most of our divers prefer DIN fitting on the First Stage regulator which attaches to the tank valve. A DIN regulator has a threaded post which screws into the inside of a DIN valve tank and has no additional metal or braces that run behind the valve. This, together with the position of its o-ring, creates a more secure seal on the tank. YOKE (or A-Clamp) 1st stages have an oblong metal brace that completely encircles the tank valve when in place and is screwed down on the tank valve when the yoke screw is tightened. Both regulators seal to the scuba tank by means of an o-ring where the o-ring on a Yoke valve is in the tank valve itself as opposed to DIN regulators that have the own o-ring. DIN fittings are commonly accepted as being more secure but Yoke valves are common throughout North America and recreational tourist destinations. A DIN regulator can be adapted to Yoke valves by using an A-clamp adapter for travel.
