Delivery

Fast and Secure Worldwide Delivery

All orders for items that are in stock will be processed within 2 working days for dispatch and delivery. UK mainland orders, where possible and unless specified otherwise, will be dispatched using DPD allowing customers to track and amend delivery date and times. Deliveries abroad will be carried out by appropriate courier services depending on weight and size of shipment.

Deliveries for items purchased via PayPal or PayPal credit, will only be dispatched to PayPal-Verified addresses. Purchases made by debit or credit card will only be dispatched to delivery address specified during the purchase. On high value items or good being delivered outside of the UK, we reserve the right to deliver only to the billing address.

Our Shipping and Charges

  • UK mainland orders over £45: FREE inclusive delivery*
  • UK mainland orders under £45: £4.90
  • European Community: £9.60 + 3.5% of order value (maximum £20)
  • Channel Islands: £9.60 + 3.5% of order value (maximum £20)
  • Ireland: £9.60 + 3.5% of order value (maximum £20)
  • Non-EU European countries: £18.60 + 7.5% of order value (maximum £50)
  • Worldwide non European countries: £19.50 + 7.5% of order value (maximum £50)
  • BFPO Post Codes Flat Fee £15

  • FPO - we do not deliver to FPO post boxes
  • PO Boxes - All our deliveries need to be signed for, therefore unless prior arrangements are made we do not deliver to PO Boxes.

The above also constitutes the basis of any refundable basic delivery charges stated in our Returns Procedures.

Products subject to special offers and/or discounted, on sale, including offers of free, discounted or exclusively priced UK and international delivery charges (i.e. referred to as free UK mainland delivery) will be shipped as one consignment only, once all items on the order are ready for despatch. Part delivery of such items is only available at our discretion. 

* We reserve the right to cancel any transaction with a full and immediate refund where deemed necessary due to stock availability or trade restrictions (please see our Terms and Conditions). Certain products i.e cylinders and weights may only be listed as available for UK mainland delivery only but if you wish to obtain a quote for larger or heavier items to be shipped outside the UK, please contact us for available courier prices.

Risk of damage to or loss of the product shall pass to you at the point at which they are delivered or a courier package is signed for. Please check any package for possible damage and make sure the parcel is intact, unopened and undamaged before accepting/signing for it.
 

Trade restrictions: Some of our products from select manufacturers may have trading restrictions on delivery outside of the UK or EEA  (i.e. Apeks, Aqualung, 4th Element, Scubapro etc.).  If you have any queries about these or where and how to obtain these products in your area, you are advised to contact us prior to making a purchase. There are also freight forwarding companies with reasonable rates through which you can get physical delivery addresses in a range of countries including the UK.

While we cannot give specific advise, Aramex Shop & Ship appears to have reasonable prices and reliable fast delivery world-wide whereas Alfaparcel deals specifically with the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Kirgizstan, Tajikistan, Armenia and Turkmenistan.  

How does freight forwarding work? You need to register in advance to open an account with the freight forwarding company. At store checkout you enter the physical UK address you have. Only UK mainland shipping fees (free delivery on orders over £45) apply. The freight forwarding company then receives and sends the items to you under their own pricing plan generally based on distance and weight. Shipping rates generally have a base charge and a weight charge on top. Our own studies have shown these are normally under or at around the same price we would have capped international shipping if we were to send the item direct. However please keep in mind that taxes and customs duties will apply to purchases.

If any fault develops with your product(s) they will also need to be sent back to the country of purchase where you will be required to cover shipping charges to and from the UK.


 
VAT Exemption and BFPO

International customers do not pay UK tax but are liable for any tax, duties and admin/handling fees in their own countries and responsible to clear the items with their own customs authorities.

At checkout please select the country of the billing and delivery address and the UK VAT will be deducted automatically.

International Deliveries

We have hundreds of satisfied customers world-wide and deliver to any location not subject to international sanctions and restrictions. International orders are shipped by international couriers unless other arrangements are made by prior agreement.

Please note that for your own security we will ship international orders only to PayPal verified addresses (if PayPal is used for payment) or the billing address of the credit/debit card used. Please also refer to our Returns Policy for orders placed outside of the EEA subject to customs duties, where returns may not be accepted other than for faulty items.

Although we do our best to ship using the fastest method, for international deliveries please allow up to 14 working days for receipt before contacting us.  Unfortunately we cannot do anything about delays in local postal services abroad. 

Underwater Explorers Ltd. will not be responsible for any shipment rejected by clients (article 12) due to failing local tax/duties clearances or collection of good being delivered. Where such shipments are returned due to the customer's failure to provide correct address, receive the delivery at the given address, clear customs, tax, duties or handling fees in the receiving country -- any additional return fees charged from and all relevant shipment costs will be deducted from any applicable refund for that purchase/dispatch. Exports, duties, taxes & fees for International Orders

Please note you are responsible to ensure that any goods we export out of the UK for your use is allowed to be shipped and used in your country of residence.

  1. We do not charge UK Value Added Tax (VAT) for orders placed from outside the UK, including EU countries, as such goods qualify as VAT exempt “exports”. You accept that as the “importer” you will be liable for all local import fees, taxes and customs duties at the destination country. As charges vary from country to country, we have no control over these and it is your responsibility to cover them.
     
  2. If any international shipment is not collected and cannot be delivered due to failure to pay local import, custom and any admin charges or erroneous/insufficient address details provided by you, or refusal of delivery, or national laws preventing delivery of said goods, the shipment may be returned to us or even destroyed.
     
  3. If any shipment is destroyed for above reasons or damaged due to failure to clear customs and accept delivery, we will not be able to refund you.
     
  4. Outbound and inbound shipping charges will be deducted from any international shipment returned to us as consequence of failure to clear and accept delivery.
     
  5. Any outstanding duties, customs, penalties or additional fees will also be deducted from any refund as they are still payable even if the shipment is returned to us. We will not reship the same order if it is returned to us for the above reasons.
Shipments & Delivery
  1. We will ship anywhere in the world but for areas local or international restrictions and/or online trading restrictions may apply.
     
  2. Certain manufacturers have trading restrictions limiting our distribution area for online orders. We will contact you if your order cannot be accepted because of these.
     
  3. All orders for items that are in stock will be processed within 2 working days for dispatch and delivery.
     
  4. We aim to dispatch all goods within 7 working days of the order and will advise in writing if there are any exceptions to this. While we do our best to get your order to you as soon as we can, please allow 7 working days for UK and up to 14 working days for international deliveries.
     
  5. All international orders and high value UK orders will only be dispatched to the registered or verified card billing address. Orders paid for by PayPal will only be shipped to PayPal verified addresses. PO Box addresses will not be accepted.
