We’re located on the Isle of Portland (in Dorset) because Portland has been one of the most popular scuba diving locations in the United Kingdom even before we set up operations here back in the year 2000.

On one side, we’re minutes away from the sheltered waters of Portland Marina and Harbour, while on the other, it’s just a brief walk to reach our famous scuba diving destination Chesil Cove and start of the 16-mile-long Chesil Beach.

Whether you’re doing a boat dive from Portland Marina or Castletown or a shore dive at Chesil Cove, Portland is well known for offering many possibilities: Reef diving to wreck diving and night diving, underwater photography or underwater videography. Halcyon Harness

The Halcyon Secure Harness fitted to the Halcyon backplate allows for infinite adjustability, providing a perfect fit for all divers.

Men or women diving wet or dry will find the Secure Harness is, without question, the most stable and well-fitted design in the industry. The five-point system ensures a snug fit and eliminates tank roll and drift.

Bent D-rings facilitate one-handed storage of accessories like backup lights or stage bottles. Complete adjustability of D-rings eliminates inappropriate attachment points.

Halcyon Backplate

As with most Halcyon products, an immense amount of behind-the-scenes work is required to create a plate we proudly sell.

Halcyon backplates have been refined to provide the highest-quality finish and materials available. Small details, like the unique bends near the bottom of the plate, create an ergonomic curve, increasing diver comfort. Meanwhile, the precise fabrication process ensures the quality you have come to expect from Halcyon.

Specially designed for mating with all Halcyon and conventional wings, the Halcyon Backplate is available in 3mm Stainless Steel and Aluminum. The utility holes allow easy mating with the optional MC Storage Pak to stow an SMB or to fit a drysuit inflation system.
